We ain’t nothing but mammals.
Well, some of us cannibals who cut other people open like cantaloupes.
But if we can hump dead animals and antelopes, then there’s no reason that a man and another man can’t elope.
Why is a traditionalist blog linking to the likes of this guy?
Don’t watch it if you dislike the vulgarity.
You might think of Eminem as an unlikely torch-bearer for Western culture (and you’d be right), but what’s fascinating is that in spite of everything, Eminem gets it. Perhaps not in any systematically thought-out fashion, but at least intuitively, he clearly gets it about moral relativism and what happens when, in lieu of any objective good, there is only “as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone”-philosophy. If we’re nothing but animals, and if society is cool with kids watching Tom Green simulate necrobestiality on TV, why *not* let a couple of guys “marry” each other?
Interesting that yet again, the wise of the world are foolish, while this guy, surely representing the dregs of humanity, sees through the charade.
[...] Samson’s Jawbone [...]
A friend of mine who I used to share a flat with used to listen to Eminem quite a lot, and we used to have heated debates about him, I was saying he was disgusting, and he should not listen to him. But after a while of having to listen to it through the wall, I kinda got to half respect him for the reasons you state. He is a modern day prophet, not Godly, or even good, but someone who mirrors reality back to us. I don’t listen to him, or even have any of his albums or downloads, but he is disturbing, and thusly good, because he goes for the truth in all the bullshit that is our modern day lives!

Eminem – not the fount of wisdom, but maybe the drop of clarity. This time.
If you feel like I feel I got the antidote
Women wear your pantyhose
Sing the chorus
Here it goes…
I know this post is old, but I’m gonna comment anyway.
Eminem grew up in a trailer park outside of Detroit from what I understand. North or South, trailer trash are conservative in a lot of respects, especially when it comes to sexual. roles. He is also influenced by black ghetto culture, another group who have somewhat conservative views towards sexuality.
The other thing I notice is that he has a comedian’s view of life, he focuses on the absurdities he sees and skewers them. If he was a little less angry and from the ‘burbs, he may have done stand up.
